FortyThree Shop are seeking talented artists to join our collective.

Established in 2017, FortyThree Shop is a bustling co-operative shop in Ilfracombe's artist quarter. We showcase 100% handmade work by local artisans. Offering customers direct access to unique, high-quality pieces at fair prices.

The heart of FortyThree is our artisan members. Not only do they create exceptional work. They also welcome you to the shop, on hand to share their knowledge and passion.

As a resident artist you'll benefit from a dedicated space to sell your work. Be supported by a close-knit community of fellow artists. Meet new customers and gain valuable exposure.

Our Offer

A dedicated space in store.
0% commission on sales - keep 100% of your profits.
Display your work in a dedicated window display as our featured artist.
FortyThree Shop is open 7 days a week (summer), 6 days a week (winter).
Workshop space available in store.

About You

You are a local North Devon artist or maker.
Your work must be 100% handmade.
You have availability to work in our shop.

Your Commitment

£60 per month (£12.50 per week) paid monthly.
2 days in the shop (or 4 half days) per month.
One months notice should you wish to leave.

We run a flexible monthly rota to cover our shop opening hours. You can arrange to work full days or half days but a monthly commitment of 2 days a month total is expected. This allow us to keep the shop open 7 days a week.
